Another Successful Sundance for the SOCIAL LODGE
Social Lodge expands mobile branding at the Sundance Film Festival through translation of social media platforms to real life experience by engaging entertainment and its members.
In the true spirit of Sundance, Park City’s Main Street was flourishing with entertainment’s top industry influencers this past festival 2013. Cisero’s Nightclub and Good Times Bar, located at 306 Main Street, was the hot spot for this year’s MUSIC + FILM = SOCIAL LODGE presented by Canada California Business Council (CABusinessCouncil.com). From 11am-2pm on Friday, January 18th and 10am-1pm on Saturday, January 19th, guests started out their day with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options: including a caffeine boost compliments of Real Beanz iced coffee (RealBeanzCoffee.com), Ciroc Vodka Bloody Mary Bar, Activate Water (ActivateDrinks.com), Stella Artois (StellaArtois.com), and Firestone & Robertson Distilling Company (FRDistilling.com) onsite whiskey sampling.
Shuttle Park City (ShuttleParkCity.com) transported festival VIPS to and from Salt Lake City’s airport and around Park City in luxurious Escalade style, while UBER (Uber.com) was local transportation for the masses delivered within minutes per smart phone request. Cisero’s historic stage featured live music from artists such as the New York acapella group Duwende (Duwende.com), soulful yet deceptively dark pop singer Melinda Ortner, raw, Indie rocker Robert Meade, and acoustic folk singer-songwriter Anthony McCarthy.
Known for bringing together like-minded, industry professionals for networking, brand integration, and communal comradery, the SOCIAL LODGE incorporated the new element of art into its out-of-the-box mix. Artist, author, and physician, the multi-talented Dr. Alexander Kanevsky (AlexanderKanevsky.com) onsite showcasing his larger than life paintings in a mini gallery setting. With an artistic style embracing the fusion of Michelangelo and DaVinci’s high renaissance art, invoking the romanticism of William Blake, the surrealism of Marc Chagall, Salvador Dali, and Edward Burro, and both Fauvist and German impressionism, Dr. Kanevsky’s multi-dimensional character and works of strong symbolism were a huge hit at the SOCIAL LODGE.
SOCIAL LODGE invite-only attendees enjoyed gifting from Spadaro Luxury Fragrances (Spadaro.co) that inspire and celebrate the spirit of adventure, patented and perfect fitting Sarahi Signature Jeans (SarahiFashion.com), fashionably fun PopMolly (PopMolly.com) purses and belts, Whimsy Clothing mountain apparel and accessories, designer body shaping beverage Physique Tea (PhysiqueTea.com), stylish Prestige Pet Bowls (PrestigePet.com), organic and hand blended Celtic Complexion Skin Care (CelticComplexion.com), philanthropic WINK toiletry bags (WinkBags.com) benefitting the Ronald McDonald Hospital, healthy Pirate’s Booty popcorn, Award-Winning novel Evangeline: Paradise Stolen by M.M. LeBlanc (EvangelineNovel.com), hilarious hair on a headband by Mullet On The Go (MulletOnTheGo.com), Trojan Lubricants, Green Smart Living E-Cigarettes and Re-Bound Hangover Prevention, Emergen-C (EmergenC.com), Photomosaics coffee table book by Robert Silvers, Poofy Cheeks Hair Ties, Dan Nainan Comedy DVDS, West 280’s (West280.com) iOpener bottle openers, Dr. Stacy Mobley’s Virtual Detox, Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group gift certificates, Outburst Energy Bites, Aperture Magazine, and Urgent RX Fast Powders.
Attendees and recipients of the MUSIC + FILM= SOCIAL LODGE experience included everyone from filmmakers with films in the festival, members of the Foo Fighters, reality stars such as the cast mates of Shah’s of Sunset, DWTS, and Real Housewives, Soap Opera greats, to Rick Springfield, the founders of Slamdance, and winning Olympians. With Cisero’s as an initial home base to kick off the festival, the SOCIAL LODGE spread unto the streets of Sundance for pop-up parties and mobile brand integration with the Blackhouse Foundation and Independent Artist’s Lounge.
