“HUFF” THRILLER MAKES WORLD FESTIVAL PREMIERE AT FRIGHT NIGHT FILM FEST
STAR CHARLIE O’CONNELL TO MAKE SPECIAL APPEARANCE
HOLLYWOOD, CA (June 20, 2012)—Upstart film company Windchaser Pictures’ debut feature film HUFF has been officially selected to the Fright Night Film Fest film festival and will make its World Festival Premiere Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 8:30 p.m. at The Galt House Hotel & Conventions Center in Louisville, KY.
HUFF, a twisted adaptation of the classic bedtime story “The Three Little Pigs,” stars Charlie O’Connell (“The Bachelor” Season 7) as a sexually abusive stepfather (the “big bad wolf”) who embarks on a rage-induced killing spree as he pursues his three stepdaughters (the “three little piggies”) who have run away with his money.
O’Connell and co-star Elina Madison (Creepshow 3, Chop) will be in attendance at the festival and concurrent fan convention to sign FREEautographs and take pictures with fans, a nice break from the prices charged by other stars in attendance. Other celebrities scheduled to attend include Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, Rudy, Goonies), Corey Feldman (Stand By Me, The Lost Boys, Gremlins), Luke Perry (“Beverly Hills 90210”), and Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead”).
Reviews of HUFF from advance screenings have been overwhelmingly positive. Larry Richman of Indie Film Spotlight gives HUFF four stars. “Huff will blow you away!”
“Expect to be shocked and to not be able to take your eyes off the screen,” proclaims Phil MacManus of PixelatedDimensions.com. “It’s a breath of fresh air in the film business. [I] recommend it.”
Critics especially lauded O’Connell’s breakout performance as the terrifying villain. Scott Shoyer of AnythingHorror.com described it as “one of the most brutal, savage, and powerful performances I’ve seen in a long time.”
