PHILADELPHIA, PA (May31, 2012)—The cast and crew of the new spine-tingling indie feature filmHUFF blows into Philly this weekend for a special screening at Wizard World’s Comic Con fan show this Friday night at 9:00 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

HUFF, a twisted adaptation of the classic bedtime story “The Three Little Pigs,” stars Charlie O’Connell (“The Bachelor” Season 7) as asexually abusive stepfather (the “wolf”) who embarks on a rage-induced killing spree as he pursues his three stepdaughters (the “three piggies”) who have run away with his money.

Prior to Friday’s screening, fans can meet stars of the film at HUFF’s Comic Con Booth #510 beginning at 12:00 noon.HUFFstars O’Connell and Elina Madison (Creepshow 3, Chop), and director Paul Morrell (Filth to Ashes, Texas Chainsaw Musical) will be on hand to sign FREEautographs and take FREE photos with fans, a nice break from the hundreds of dollars being charged by genre super stars Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers, Snow White and the Huntsman), Marvel comics legendary creator Stan Lee, and the iconic William Shatner (Star Trek).

The film will screen immediately following the sneak preview of Paramount’s The Loved Ones, an Australian revenge-horror pic schedule to open later this summer. Following the 9:00 p.m. screening of HUFFthere will be a short Q&A with the cast & crew.

And the fun doesn’t stop! All fans and press are invited to HUFF’sstar-studded after party being held at 11:30pto closing at Field House tavern located at 1150 Filbert Street inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Early reviews of HUFF indicate Philly Comic Con fans are in for a treat. Larry Richman of Indie Film Spotlight says“Huff will blow you away!” and gives it four stars. Scott Shoyer of describesO’Connell’s breakout performance as the terrifying villain as “one of the most brutal, savage, and powerful performances I’ve seen in a long time.”
