Rio Thake is a popular young actor and model living in London where he was raised and comes from a big family with a single mother. Like himself, all seven of his siblings are also on the way to becoming models and actors.
Starting his career very early by the age of 5, Rio did some TV commercials and modeling. Right from the beginning, he was featured in films and has modeled for large fashion stores throughout the United Kingdom.
Additionally in London, Rio has also featured in dance shows and is an excellent street-style hip hop dancer. This young entertainer is well on his way to making his dreams come true, and has successfully achieved many talented feats at such a young age.
During an interview, Rio stated that he is inspired by the likes of Zac Efron, Chris Brown, Paul Walker, and Justin Bieber. This popular young star claims that he would love to have worked with Paul Walker, but with Walker’s untimely death in 2013, sadly Rio’s dream didn’t come true. However, Walker remains one of his biggest idols and inspirations to this day.
Rio’s favorite moment so far in his acting and modeling career was his role in the film Still Life. He is also booked for the summer of 2015 when he heads to Los Angeles, for some exciting TV projects and commercials.
Rio is definitely on his way to superstardom and will star in several feature films in the future as well as continuing as an international model. As far as modeling, he has featured in many fashion campaigns across the world. His face is in just about every store window throughout England and the rest of Europe.
At just 13 years of age this performer with extraordinary talents, also stated in an interview that dreams have to be pursued with hard work and never giving up. As a matter of fact, his words of advice to all kids pursuing the dream of becoming an actor or model are “to never give up and follow your dreams.”
