HUFF WRAPS SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTION, BEGINS POST-PRODUCTION
SANTA CLARITA (December 26, 2011)— Windchaser Pictures announces that it has successfully completed principal photography of the independent feature film HUFF in Santa Clarita, CA. The film stars Charlie O’Connell (“The Bachelor, Season 7”) as Virgil “Huff” Huffington, a sexually abusive stepfather who embarks on a rage-induced killing spree as he pursues his three stepdaughters who have run away with his money intended for a big drug deal.
“It was a very, very successful shoot,” says Executive Producer Cort Howell. “We assembled an incredible cast and crew who worked diligently to capture some impressive images and performances. We have exceeded our expectations up to this point.”
July 2010 Playboy cover-model Natasha Alam (“True Blood,” “The Bold and the Beautiful”) who plays Huff’s kinky mistress announced her satisfaction with the production process via Twitter (@natashaalam): “Scratched up, bump on my head, carpet burns on my knees, minor cuts all over my body. Love it!!! Acting in @huffmovie.”
Clint Howard (Apollo 13, Evilspeak, “Star Trek”) joined the cast during the final days of production as an unwitting accomplice to Huff’s rage-induced brutality. Howard, a lifelong family friend of Howell, noted: “I can honestly say Cort is the only producer I’ve ever seen in diapers.”
Mayra Leal (Machete) completed her work in the role of a strung out neighbor to the dysfunctional Huffington family, as did “scream queen” Elina Madison as Huff’s wife, a vain exotic dancer.
Rounding out the principal cast are several young talent on the rise as the three stepdaughters, including Marie Bollinger (Hell-o-ween) as the heroine of the film, Jenna Stone (A Haunting in Salem), and big screen newcomer Elly Stefanko. Randy Blekitas (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) also plays a key role as the boyfriend of Stone’s character.
Editing has begun with a trailer expected to be revealed in early 2012.
