A CITIZEN OF THE WORLD – MIREYA RIOS

Mireya Rios is a citizen of the world, literally. She was born in Mexico and was educated in Switzerland, speaks three languages fluently, Spanish, French and English and has visited too many countries to keep track of. She’s also a highly trained actress who attended UCLA, the New York Film Academy and studies method acting at the Lee Strasberg School, with the illustrious actress and acting teacher Irma Sandrey. Do credentials get any better than that?
How about this: Mireya has acted extensively in television, film and theater, (including Shakespeare and modern plays) and also featured in multimedia and online productions, and she even starred in a Snapchat commercial. Let’s not forget to mention that Mireya is also an influential social media leader in Monterrey, Mexico. But, wait, there’s more…. Mireya can dance with the best of them and can sing with the most melodically beautiful voice that, incidentally, mirrors her lovely and quite alluring face. She has also had acrobatic training, which allows her to audition and win roles that other women might not be athletically matched up for, so be careful that you treat this beautiful Mireya can perform any character in just about any accent or dialect the script calls for, and since she has had plenty of improv training, she can keep up with any other talented actors who are on the set with her.
Mireya is multi-talented and genuinely charming as well. Her world traveling has allowed her to see people of other cultures and enjoy and experience things she might never have seen if she had stayed at home. She’s ridden camels and savored orange blossom almond milk and dates in North Africa and seen first hand the honest humanity of people on several other continents as well, all the while cataloging her observations of the people she comes in contact for future reference in her successful acting career.
Mireya, the world traveler, understands people and she realizes that that is a key element in an actor’s toolbox. She recognizes that to be a solid actor, one must be able to understand who the character is while reading the script, and to do that, the actor has to understand fundamental human nature, which this woman does very well. In short, Mireya has pretty much everything going for her as a person and as an actress.
