Amy Field is an astounding actress and singer. Her talent is clearly seen in many of the amazing roles she has played. She played the lead role of Evelyn in Independence directed by Rebecca Frank, which has been her favorite part to play to date. She has also played the lead role of Chrissy in the movie, Anastasia. This talented starlet also played important roles in Six Degrees of Separation, Anything Goes, and Return to the Forbidden Planet.
Amy has had a lot of training over the years in both singing and acting. She began singing with the Australian Youth Choir, which is an international touring choir, at a very young age. Amy has also trained under singer Margi Di Ferranti and Pat Wilson. She also studied acting with Adrian Barnes at the Springboards Performing Arts School. She attended the highly acclaimed Stella Adler Studio of Acting Conservatory Program in 2014 and has taken classes at both Darlo Drama and Acting World. Amy’s dreams are big and they keep getting bigger with every achievement she succeeds at.
Amy also will be launching her own Australian Theatre Company which is named the SWAG Theatre Company. She is very excited to be having their inaugural production which will be happening at the Tank in New York City on October 8-11. The first play will be A Single Act where Amy will be producing and playing the lead role. The theme focuses on domestic violence and Amy hopes to spread awareness about the prevalence of the issue. As well as supporting the cause with her production. Amy is very excited to be achieving this dream and helping out a great cause as well. She believes that hard work pays off and perseverance is key in achieving one’s goals. Amy is a talented actress and singer whose skills really speak for themselves.
