There are nonfiction movies that feature the game, like Bingo! The Documentary. This movie follows the life of the players as they come together in the halls. It’s an interesting examination of how bingo unites people of different ages, genders and walks of life. Although it might seem trite, it’s actually a really interesting documentary.

If you’re a fan of movies with a bit of a twisted side then Bingo is a movie for you. The premise is that there’s a massive prison which is suffering a bit of an overcrowding issue. The solution is to get the friends and family of the prisoners to play for their lives in a huge game of bingo. Alright, the premise is a bit strange but no weirder than some other award winners. It was actually inspired by a true, which just makes it that bit more morbid.
Next up we have Hotel Transylvania, the vampire comedy with big names like Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler. These monsters are on the friendly side and even enjoy a short game of bingo during the movie. If you’ve not seen this family comedy then you need to put it on your must watch list. There’s now a sequel to this movie too, which will give you yet more chuckles.
If we go back in time a bit, we come across the gem King of the Bingo Game from 2008. It focuses on the life of a disadvantaged young man who is down on his luck. He takes on other bingo players in an attempt to improve his standing in life. If you want something to get you ready for the upcoming year then there are loads of new bingo sites 2017 set to launch too.

Even your favourite mainstream movies can allow you to play your own version of bingo. Just make up cards with movie moments and distribute them among friends. The players whose card is filled up first will win. Usually pop culture hits are the best for this, like Star Wars as you can think of lots of movie moments and quotes off the top of your head. Just print off some cards and you’re ready to play.
