James Henri Thomas
Okay, let’s get this out of the way before we move onto the rest of the article. James Henri-Thomas is an English actor who just happens to have a French spelled name right in the middle of his two other very obviously British names. The question naturally arises – “Why?” We asked James that question and he gave us a very logical, even heroic answer. When his grandfather was stationed in France during World War 2, he met a beautiful French girl in the great city of Lyon. That girl was destined to become James’ grandmother because his grandfather fell madly in love with her and came back for her after the war and married her. They, of course, lived happily ever after and James was named Henri for the French side of his illustrious family.
This tall, good-looking Englishman knew he was going to be an actor at the young age of four. He loved acting more than anything else in his life up till then and apparently, nothing has changed his mind. For him there was never a career of any other calling. It was always acting. He was really a fortunate person in that respect, because so many of us humans never know what we want to do in life until it’s almost over with. James has had extensive training in all types and techniques of acting. He earned a place one of the UK’s top Drama courses at the University of Exeter after touring for three years with the National Youth Music Theatre as a teenager. He then attended the MET Film School at Ealing Studios, along with the London Actors Workshop, and he even flew all the way to Los Angeles to study acting in Hollywood.
After all his training, (do actors ever stop training themselves?) James’ acting career caught on fire. He was cast in an international and high-profile commercial, as well as countless stage plays and films. He never looked back, he just keeps moving forward and now he is planning to move to Hollywood permanently to take advantage of some film opportunities there. He feels that Hollywood and Americans in general, have an accepting and very positive attitude towards him as an actor and he is looking forward to living in the heart of the movie industry.
