With three of his own self financed movies in the can, the fourth financed through investors and films five and six written and cast, you might be curious as to what makes this self proclaimed “Film Creator” so wholeheartedly enthusiastic at this point in his career about making good movies. After all, he has been in the entertainment business for over 25 years. At 43, you might say he is just telling the truth about the many lives he has already lived.
“To make a great movie by the age of 50; I knew at 15 that I would need to know as much about a good life as I did about all the components of feature film creating.” he said in our other side of the world interview. You see, MYC Agnew is as close to Syria as he can get while finishing up his second film Sillent Assassin “The L is Silent.” (the follow up to his “Super-Indy” festival flick, ALONE “The Only Thing to Fear is Yourself.”). Not to make a run on sentence, but keeping up with his currant pace kind of calls for it.
For instance, try to imagine his third film, BlackBox “The Saturation of the Implication.” (starring Jimmy Jean-Louis & Jack Stuart), has actually finished before the last pick-ups of his second film and before that his forth film is already past its start date; and all the while, footage of his festival speech from his first film’s release shows up in his third movie which is actually his second completed feature, yeah…wow! So yes, you might be wondering what his answer was as to “What’s got him so wholeheartedly enthusiastic about making good movies?”. Well, of course he gives us his answer and its got nothing to do with making good movies; but instead, his answer has everything to do with chackras, fear and creating a good person. Can you say BUZZ!?
