THE VERSATILITY AND SKILL SET OF PRODUCER ASSYA DIMOVA
Born in the technological wonder of Tokyo, Japan and raised in the stunning Sofia, Bulgaria; the talented and well-travelled Assya Dimova is a Los Angeles, California based creative producer. As producer, she has worked on films such as The Voice, Raghad, Upper Fields, Just One Date, and The Voice, but has experience with feature length films, web series, and television shows. She also has experience with production assistance, such as her work on the feature film Home Invasion and the web reality competition Studio 4. As a part-time executive assistant with Sky Broadcasting Assya continues to produce independent projects such as Meet the Abdullahs and Bernard and the Scarf independently. Both of which she is pitching to companies using a zeal and project assurance only she is capable of. Reinforcing her raw, natural talent is a MFA from Columbia College, Chicago, a MSc in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology and BSc in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. She is an austere critic, and relentless laborer who produces smart and original content like her work with the Italian-Bulgarian Culture Week concerts through 2005 to 2007, and the feature length film The Enemy Way which is currently in active development, and which ruminates on both Navajo and Jewish culture in surprising, unexplored ways. Her versatility and skill set is credited to a lifelong passion for creating visceral and moving content. With this much talent packed into one person there is sure to be more excellent work coming from the already impressive creative producer Assya Dimova.
